Float Tank Corner Piece Installation
After a couple months of testing our production sample we have found that a small percentage of tanks get condensation buildup in the corners. In an effort to prevent any tank from ever having issues we are asking everyone to put small patches on the inside corners of the tank. Without assembling these final pieces there is a chance condensation could escape. Installing the patches is very simple and will not take long.
Below are two videos: the first, is a message from our owner, Shane Stott, with a quick explanation of this installation process. The second is a full instructional video, along with a printable PDF of the step-by-step instructions.
These videos will show you everything you need to know to get this done.

Things to note:
Remove shoes or any sharp objects before entering tank
Do not puncture the tank
What you will need:
4 Vinyl corner pieces, size is 2.5” x 4.5”
Vinyl repair glue
Vinyl glue brush
Valve tool (That is what Shane calls it in the video)
Cardboard piece or paper plate
All of these items will be sent you to with your tank package, the only item you will need to provide yourself is a hair dryer or heat gun.
Step 1: Place 1 patch onto the corner of the tank, and trace an outline of the patch in desired location
Step 2: Place a half dollar size amount of vinyl repair glue onto cardboard piece or paper plate
Step 3: Brush glue onto the tank area that you outlined in step 2, and onto the vinyl corner piece
The corner area of the tank and the vinyl corner piece should be completely covered in glue
Step 4: Use the hair dryer to dry the glue on the corner and the vinyl corner piece
You will know it is done when the repair glue loses shine and becomes tacky
Step 5: Gently fold the vinyl corner piece and line the center to the center of the outlined area of the tank
The most important part to seal is the top and bottom along the corner. Make sure those areas are completely sealed
Step 6: Use the valve tool to press down the patch onto the tank
Step 7: Let the glue fully dry for 24 hours before tank use and before you fill the tank with water
